He is survived by: his wife Rhonda Simmons (Hickey); his daughters, Michelle Simmons of Eldon, MO and Laura Simmons Markway of Eldon, MO; his grandchildren, Summer Weaver, Logan Markway and Tennyson Jenkins; his great grandchildren, Chase Kempland, Aspen Kempland and Camden Farris; his siblings, C. E. "Bud" Simmons of Camdenton, MO, Barbara Simmons Hammond of Chesterfield, MO and Linda Simmons-Thomas of Eldon, MO; and his sister-in-law Paula Hickey Koerner of Barnett, MO.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions are suggested to the Mid-MO Honor Flight or the First Baptist Church of Eldon, MO.
