He was predeceased by: his father David Morris Sr.; and his grandparents, Gail, Irene Morris, Merle and Gwen Shoemaker.
He is survived by: his mother Nita Morris (Shoemaker) of Eldon, MO; his wife Christi (Thoenen); his children, Jacob Morris of Hummelstown, PA, Josh Morris (Rachel) of Eugene, MO, Jeremy Morris and Madison Morris of Jefferson City; his grandchildren, Damien Morris and Lilian Irene Reisner of Jefferson City; his stepchildren, Taylor Werdehausen (Carson) of Cape Girardeau, Jeramey and Kolby Werdehausen of Eldon; his stepgrandchildren, Dylan Backer and Demi Holloway; his sisters, Angie Kreiling (Darrell), Holly Thomas (Cole) and Kari Salsman (Larry); and his nephews, James Kreiling, Colter Bond, Parker, Lincoln and Griffin Salsman.
