We are sad to announce that on August 8, 2021, at the age of 71, Curtis Morris of Eldon, Missouri, born in Tuscumbia, Missouri passed away. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Curtis Morris to pay them a last tribute.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Gail Morris and Irene Morris (Kempker). He is survived by: his wife Janet Morris (Moats); his daughters, Stephanie (Morris), Chapman (Mike) of Eldon, MO and Shanna Moats-Payne (Shaun) of Eldon; his brother Larry Morris (Ginny); and his sister-in-law Nita Morris. He is also survived by his nieces, and nephews, family and friends.

Memorial contributions are suggested to St. Jude's Children Hospital.

“Curt was simply the best. My husband and I were fortunate to have him and Janet as neighbors in Overland Park. He had a great wit, an unusual humility, and a honesty that made his visits always a highlight. His core values centered around family, hard work, and generosity. We were taking care of our granddaughter Anna at the time, and interacting with her was so important to him. She loved him. Even as a small toddler, she understood his genuineness and his love for her. Recently, she and I were able to meet Curt and Janet for lunch. She had not seen him for over a year, but no time had passed for Anna. She was thrilled and for the rest of the afternoon talked about Curt and Janet nonstop. The world was a better place with Curt in it. He will be missed. My condolences to his amazing wife Janet and the other members of his wonderful family.”
