She was predeceased by: her parents, Oliver Bacon and Jessie Bacon; her husband Leonard Groose; her siblings, Grant, Miller, Kenneth, Leroy, Helen Wilhite and Mary Baucom; her grandmother Henley; and her daughter-in-law Lynn Groose. She is also survived by sons, grandchildren, and great grandchildren.

Addie was most proud of her contribution to the quilts auctioned off to raise money for children with Cystic Fibrosis.
