He was predeceased by: his parents, Rudolf Nikodim and Anna Nikodim (Trecek); his son Dale; his brothers, John and Ernest; and his daughters-in-law, Brenda Nikodim and Lisa Nikodim.
He is survived by: his wife Beverly Plain; his sons, Doug (Shelly Nikodim) and Jim (Jeannie Nikodim); his father-in-law Howard Plain; his sons, Joe Nikodim Jr. and Howard Nikodim; and his grandchildren, Misty Russell, Kristy Nikodim, Matthew Nikodim, Mandy Nikodim, Melody Madewell, Josh Nikodim, Andrea Nikodim, Tiffany Janes and Jamie Nikodim. He is also survived by seven great-grandchildren; and many other relatives and friends.
