He was predeceased by: his parents, Ben Coleman and Zoe Vivian Coleman (Carriker); his wife Joyce Hess; his son Michael; and his siblings, Deloris, Doris, Dean, Bennie and Paul.
He is survived by: his sister Donis Sawyer (Junior); his sisters-in-law, Gladys and Nadine; his daughter Carol; his daughter-in-law Kathy; his grandchildren, Waylon Wood (Esther), Linda Chambers (Jeff), Colby Wood (Lindsay) and Christopher Coleman; and his great grandchildren, Javen Keith, Colbie Jean Allison (Kameron), Allie Wood, Avery Keith, Alexandra Coleman, Ian Wood, Otis Chambers, Adelaide Wood, Collin Wood and Leo Chambers. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
