Though his name may fade from the lips of time, the imprint David Russell leaves upon the hearts of his loved ones remains eternally vivid — a testament to the depth of his spirit and the richness of his legacy.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Walter Francis Bogardus and Violet Mae Bogardus (Wiggins). He is survived by: his wife Cheryl; and his children, Tonya Cliffman of Moundville, MO, Tim Bogardus (Misty) of Schell City, MO, Jessica Volkman (Kenny) and Denice Diehl (Aaron) of Schell City, MO.. He is also survived by twelve grandchildren and seventeen great-grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Wednesday, December 11th 2024 from 5:30 PM to 7:30 PM at the Bland-Hackleman Funeral Home (3130 US-54, El Dorado Springs, MO 64744).
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be sent to Wreaths Across American for Ft. Scott National Cemetery or the Schell City Alumni Scholarship Fund.
