She was predeceased by: her parents, Orville Butler and Mertie Butler (Combs); her stepmother Gertie Lee Butler (Marshall); her grandmother Rhett; her husband John Ira Bishop; her granddaughter Stephanie Renee Vilhauer; and her half-siblings, Billy Butler, Elvin Butler, Tommy Butler, Jerry Butler and Carol Butler.
She is survived by: her daughter Nelmay Vilhauer (Stanley); her grandson John Stephen Vilhauer (Kristen Schlaud) of Chicago, Illinois; and her half-siblings, Frank Butler, Barn Butler, Eber Butler and Ruby Ann Butler. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
