She was predeceased by: her son Daniel Smart; and her brother Jerry Jones. She is survived by: her parents, Walter M. Jones and Edith Mae Jones (Forbach); her husband Kenneth Leeper; her children, Jack L. Smart (Darrelynn) of Vilonia, Patricia Gabel (Bryan) of Tonganoxie and Aaron Smart of Kansas City, MO; her stepdaughter Pamela Leeper of Grandview, MO; and her siblings, Luke Jones of Kansas City, KS, David Jones of Bonner Springs, KS and Mary Logan of Leavenworth, KS. She is also survived by other relatives and friends.
