It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Minnie Childress of Edina, Missouri, who passed away on March 7, 2022, at the age of 80, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, James Edwin Sr. and Coleta Gail Karhoff (Goodwin); her husband Jerry Childress; her children, Jerry Lloyd Childress and Kelly Ann Childress; her granddaughter Clarissa Dawn Somers; her siblings, James Karhoff, Jr., Jack Karhoff, Larry Ray (Bonnie Karhoff) and Marjorie (Bobby Aucutt); and her siblings-in-law, Betty Lou (Vernon Frogge) and Harold (Dorothy Childress).
She is survived by: her son Jay (Cynthia Childress); her great grandchild Emberson Dawn Somers of Fort Stewart, Georgia; her sisters, Peggy Shahan of Clark, Marsha (Johnny Chism), Bebe Harris of Fulton and Anita Ingalls of Auxvasse, Missouri; and her siblings-in-law, Pam Karhoff of Auxvasse, Carla Karhoff of Auxvasse, Missouri and Larry (Sharon Childress).
