The passing of Carol Sundstrom of Edina, Missouri, born in Grand Island, Nebraska leaves a void in the hearts of many, as we bid farewell to a loving soul who departed on November 8, 2024 at the age of 95. She was predeceased by: her parents, Earl Alvin and Nettie Pearl Ball Mecham; her husband George Sundstrom; and her siblings, Clinton "Marion" (Ruth Mecham), Lorella (Dean Hinkson), Leah "Lavonnne" (Mike Hinkson), Mary "Lucille" (Lawrence Lade) and Wesley (Miriam Mecham).
She is survived by: her children, Janet, Doyle Taylor of Barnhart, Missouri, Gary, Mary Lou Sundstrom of Spring, Texas, Gail and Jeff Doss of Baring, Missouri; her grandchildren, Alicia, Brian Kolafa, Jennifer, Doug Sickbert, Breanne, Victor Alvarez, Mindy, Heath Cotton, Lindsey, C. J. Bonnette, Samantha and Tommy Millican; her great grandchildren, Cheyenne, Jalin Kolafa, Chase Sickbert, Lance, Eowyn Alvarez, Ashton, Briley Cotton, Colby, Chloe Cotton, Addison, Kayson Bonnette, Magnolia and Monroe Millican; and her great great grandchild Briles Cotton. She is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, cousins.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, November 30th 2024 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Doss Funeral Home (208 N 4th, Edina, MO 63537). A funeral service will be held on Saturday, November 30th 2024 at 11:00 AM at the same location. A graveside service will be held on Saturday, November 30th 2024 at 2:00 PM at the Huntsville City Cemetery N. Oak.
