He was predeceased by: his parents, Emery Lanier and Violet Lanier. He is survived by: his former wife Gertrude Davis; his wife Trude Lanier; his children, Wanda Miller (Gary), Dean Lanier (Jeanne), Stanley Lanier (Tammy) and Larry Lanier (Laura); and his siblings, Lester Lanier (Arlene), Doris Folsom and Thelma Williamson. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews, other relatives and many friends.
