Marie Goad Obituary
It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Marie Goad of Edgerton, Missouri, who passed away on January 24, 2025, at the age of 86, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Charles Boston and Elenora May Cockriel (Rogers); her husband Bobbie Frank Goad; her sons, Wayne Goad and Wesley Goad; her grandson Jon Johnson; and her siblings, Dorothy Huckaby, Martha Jane Curtis, Nancy Jo Cockriel, Connie Sims, Charles Cockriel and Larry Cockriel.
She is survived by: her daughter Janet Art (Steve); her grandchildren, Rebecca, Jessica Art and Danny Goad; her siblings, Maryann Goad (Bill), Marvin Cockriel (Wanda), Kenny Cockriel and Kay Carman; and her siblings-in-law, Steve Goad (Beverly), Ella Dunham and Joyce Burke (Gary). She is also survived by several nieces and nephews, other relatives and many friends.
Visitation was held on Friday, January 31st 2025 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Hixson-Klein Funeral Home (303 W Frank St, Edgerton, MO 64444). A graveside service was held on Friday, January 31st 2025 at the Ridgely Cemetery.
