He is survived by: his wife Kay Scarbrough; his children, Patricia Elliot (John) and Lavern Bland II (Dawnda Conrad); his grandchildren, Johnathan (Harley), Hunter, Brianna, Alexis and Kayla; and his siblings, Deloras Sellers, Diana Lawson and Jim Bland. He is also survived by 5 great-grandchildren, many nieces, nephews, extended family members, and friends.
