He was predeceased by: his parents, Jerry Ellington and Twila Ellington; and his stepbrother James Ellington. He is survived by: his sister Irene Ueligger (Tiffany); his niece Deanna Scofield (Brandon Hays); his great-nephews, Conner and Gavin; his great-niece Lizzie; and his close friend Michael Gilpin. He is also survived by several friends, uncles, aunts, and cousins.

Visitation was held on Monday, January 20th 2025 from 5:00 PM to 6:30 PM at the Hixson-Klein Funeral Home (109 N 3rd St, Gower, MO 64454).
