He was predeceased by: his parents, Thomas Grissom and Pearl Osman Grissom; and his brother Col. Thomas Grissom. He is survived by: his spouse Shirley Lockridge Grissom; and his children, Jeffery William Grissom (Janet) of Perryville, Missouri, Cindy Brownfield (Joe) of Uniontown and Michelle Braithwaite (Dennis) of Boyce, Virginia. He is also survived by 11 grandchildren and 24 great grandchildren.
