He was predeceased by: his parents, Homer Lee True and Margaret Matheny True; his daughter Sheila Hall; his siblings, Homer Lee True, Sam True, Joe Bob True and Minnie Maude; his brother-in-law Dunn; and his grandchild Miracle Kennedy.
He is survived by: his wife Martha True of Sikeston; his daughters, Brenda Carter (Mike) of Cape Girardeau, Kay Blagg (Nathan) of Bell City and Denice Kennedy (Brian) of Sikeston; his son-in-law Tim Hall of Jackson, Missouri; and his siblings, James True of Sikeston, Lavern Dunn of East Prairie, Virginia True of Rolla, Ann Ferrell (Dennis) of Paducah and Linda Marshall (Dennis) of Baton Rouge, Louisiana. He is also survived by 13 grandchildren; and 22 great-grandchildren.
