He was predeceased by: his parents, Floyd Destes Alvey and Ruby Brothers Alvey; and his nephew Colby Daniel Edwards. He is survived by: his children, Jared Alvey (Kristin) of Jackson, TN, Andrea Biggs (Jonathan) of Kansas City, MO and Dessie Alvey of Poplar Bluff; his grandsons, Ben Alvey and Sam Alvey; his siblings, James Alvey of East Prairie and Patty Edwards (Keith) of East Prairie; his nephew Ryan Edwards (Leslie); his great-nephew Thurston Edwards; and his great-niece Rylann Edwards. He is also survived by cousins and friends.
