He was predeceased by: his parents, Jno Ruff and Ruth Clementine Wilkinson Colson; and his siblings, Buel Colson, Thomas Colson, Joe Colson, Jackie Colson, Sudie Whybark and Jenna Coffer.
He is survived by: his wife Effie Mae Banks Colson; his daughter Kim Myers (Kirk) of East Prairie; his grandchildren, Jason Myers (Alexis) of Sikeston, Missouri and Rachel Myers of East Prairie; his great grandchildren, Emma Myers of Sikeston and Nora Myers of Sikeston; and his brother Larry Colson (Sue) of East Prairie.
