She was predeceased by: her parents, Charley Cecil and Frances Marie Gibbar Gross; her son Wayne Smith; her grandson Dillon Keene; and her siblings, Rachel Gross and Clinton Gross.
She is survived by: her husband James Allen "Jim" Smith; her son Charlie; her daughter-in-law Sheryl Keene of East Prairie, Missouri; her daughters, Marsha (Eugene Keene-Frye) of East Prairie, Missouri and Rhonda (Harry Brack) of East Prairie, Missouri; her siblings, Curtis Gross of Marble Hill, Alvin Gross of Norfolk, Dennis Gross of Bertrand, Darrell Gross of Charleston, Missouri. and Dorris Gross of Sikeston, Missouri.; her grandchildren, Amanda Keene, Nikole Keene, Logan Patrick, Luke Hutchason, Thadd Garrison Hutchason, Jase Hutchason, Elizabeth Story, Jonathan Brack and Olivia Smith-Lueder; and her great grandchildren, Hayden Barnard, Rylan McElfresh, Sutton McElfresh, Dylan Grace Keene, Aubree Lynn Patrick, Emmi Patrick, Jersee Story, Kendy Story and Wade Brack.
