She was predeceased by: her parents, Issac Johnson and Mattie Pearl Karlish Johnson; her spouse F. E. "Nub" Southard; her grandchild Riece McCurter Knupp; her brothers, Carl and Charles Johnson; and her granddaughter Michelle Wallace.
She is survived by: her son Larry McCurter (Deborah); her grandchildren, Laurie Gail Housman (Danny), Terry McCurter (Debbie), Shawn Knupp (Wendy), Harley McCurter (Holly), Berry Knupp (Bethany), Mattie Turner (Steven), Elizabeth Bryars (Barry), Rebecca Lutz (Stephen), LeAnne Stallings and Quad Stallings; and her close friend Jo Emma Morgan. She is also survived by great grandchildren and several great-great grandchildren; many nieces and nephews.
