She was predeceased by: her parents, Robert Lemons and Pearl Davis Lemons; her husband Carl Simpkins, Sr.; her children, Steven D. Morgan and Suzzette Morgan; and her siblings, Harold Lemons, Charles Lemons, Maxine Haney and Barbara Green.
She is survived by: her daughter-in-law Patricia Morgan; her sister Mavis June Lawrence of Red Bud, Illinois; her grandchildren, R. C. Strand (Lauren) of Festus and Stephanie Morgan of East Prairie; and her great grandchildren, Ryan, Landry, Lyla Strand of Festus and Suzzette Elizabeth Morgan of East Prairie. She is also survived by nieces, nephews and many friends.
