It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Dorothy Siggers of East Prairie, Missouri, born in Essex, Missouri, who passed away on January 11, 2023, at the age of 93, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her father James Loyd Byrd; her husband Leonard J. Siggers; her daughter Shirley McKinley; and her siblings, Viola Watson, Evelyn Carson Goleman, Flossie Abbott, Floy Henderson, Naomi Beatrice Pyles Peltonen, Terry Byrd and Jerry Byrd.
She is survived by: her children, Leonard Ray Siggers (Donna) of Grassy, Terry Siggers (Julie) of Dickinson, Texas, Clare Staggs of Sikeston and Linda Bolotte (Allen) of Folsom, Louisiana; and her sister Etta Bell Boyt of Maryville, Tennessee. She is also survived by 15 grandchildren; and numerous great grandchildren.
