Charles Payne Obituary

With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Charles Payne of East Prairie, Missouri, born in Lilbourn, Missouri, who passed away on November 27, 2020 at the age of 86. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Julius Payne and Daphne Lands Payne; his wife Shirley Warren Payne; and his sons, Charles Payne Jr. and Tommy Hamblen.

He is survived by: his children, Gayle Payne of Clinton and Charlotte Ellegood (Wayne) of Fancy Farms; and his siblings, Ann, Betty, Elsie, Wendell and Audie. He is also survived by 18 grandchildren, 43 great-grandchildren; 11 great-great-grandchildren.
