He was predeceased by: his wife Bonnie Sue Kirby; and his siblings, Linda Brown, Carrol Linley, Martha Brown of East Prairie, Larry Brown and David "Slick" Brown.
He is survived by: his sons, Charles Brown, Jr. (Kellie McIntyre), Robert Brown (Sherry Dodson) and Jason (Jennifer Brown); his foster children, Melissa Brown of East Prairie, Michael Paul Brown of East Prairie and Alisha Brown of Cairo, Illinois; and his sisters, Joyce Branum of Dogwood, Susie Taylor of Sikeston and Cheryl McCutchen of Benton, Missouri. He is also survived by 15 grandchildren and 15 great grandchildren.
