She was predeceased by: her parents, Francis Cohen and Rentha Idell Hunt Cohen; her husband James Edward Smith, Sr.; and her brother Larry Cohen. She is survived by: her children, James Smith, Jr. (Holly) of East Prairie, Tammy Yarbro (Ron) of East Prairie, Rendella Smith (Lizzy) of East Prairie and Shelly Barnes of Ozark, Missouri; and her brother Frank Cohen of Matthews, Missouri.. She is also survived by eight grandchildren and seventeen great grandchildren.
