He was predeceased by: his parents, Jesse Edward and Inar Laverne Davis Watson; his spouse Goldia McIllwain; his daughter Deborah Ann Lofton; his granddaughter Candy Cook; his stepdaughter Cheryl Bradley; and his siblings, Sonny Gammons, Marie Sisk, Mozella Sanders, Audrella Kirby and Louise Smith.
He is survived by: his sons, William Richard Watson (Audrey) of Benton, Ron Watson (Shirley) of Kelso and Lowell Gene Watson (Kim) of East Prairie; and his stepdaughters, Sonya Haines (James) of East Prairie and LaDonna McIllwain of East Prairie. He is also survived by great grandchildren.
