She was predeceased by: her parents, Purl Buster and Julia Gladys Pennington (Harrill). She is survived by: her husband Robert L. Cox; her children, Larry Hoover (Teresa), Linda Stevens (Daniel), Marilyn Partney and Barb Shoemaker (Ken); her stepchildren, David Cox (Lynne), Douglas Cox (Kate), Robert Cox (Amy), Diana Chavez (Jim) and Denise Cox; and her brothers, Byron "Bud" Pennington and Denzil "Buster" Pennington. She is also survived by several grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
Family suggests memorial contributions may be made to the Heartland Hospice in Butler, Missouri.
