It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Gene Armstrong Sr. (Eagle Rock, Missouri), born in Des Moines, Iowa, who passed away on July 4, 2018, at the age of 76, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his brother Jack Armstrong. He is survived by: his parent Alberta Armstrong (Brown); his son Gene Armstrong, Jr.; his wife Terri of Des Moines; his daughter Shannon Armstrong of Des Moines; his siblings, Ed Anthony Armstrong, Eddie Lee Armstrong and Dixie Richards of Des Moines; and also, Joseph Armstrong of Des Moines and Brian Armstrong (Cindy) of Des Moines. He is also survived by nine grandchildren; three great-grandchildren.
