He was predeceased by: his parents, Edward L. Gibson and Frances Gibson (Leatherman); and his brother Ed Leatherman. He is survived by: his wife Paula Gibson; his children, Eddie Gibson Jr. (Gracie Whiteside) of Eagle Rock, Shane Peterson (Brandi) of Clyde, Kansas, Cora Ray (Carl) of Butterfield and Ruth Harris (Tony) of Springfield, Missouri; and his siblings, Steve Gibson (Barb) of Oklahoma City, Stan Gibson of Andover, Kansas and Judy Sisco of Checotah, Oklahoma. He is also survived by 11 grandchildren, eight great grandchildren.
