He was predeceased by: his parent Theophil Schweissguth (Clara); and his great grandchild Luke Hoerstkamp. He is survived by: his parent Ellermann; his wife Mary Ellen Schweissguth of Dutzow; and his children, Bob Schweissguth (Kathy) of Washington, MO, Burt Schweissguth (Kelly) of Dutzow, MO, Dave Schweissguth (Pat) of Washington, MO, Mike Schweissguth (Nancy) of Dutzow and Barb Schweissguth of Washington, MO. He is also survived by fourteen grandchildren and eleven great-grandchildren; nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
In lieu of flowers memorials may be given to the KWVA (Korean War Veteran's Association) or St. Vincent de Paul School.
