It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Dorothy R. Yackley of Durham, Missouri, born in Easton, Missouri, who passed away on March 8, 2023, at the age of 96, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Philip Kneib and Josephine Kneib (Bucher); her husband Ernest E. Yackley; and her siblings, Robert, Francis Kneib, Mary Rose Mabie, Helen VanCleave, Marguerite Eiberger, Rita Welsh and Elizabeth Kneib.

She is survived by: her daughter Katherine Watts (Duane) of St. Louis, MO; her grandsons, Daniel Watts (Madeline) of Ellisville, MO and Thomas Watts of Austin, TX.; and her sister JoAnn King of St. Joseph, MO.

In lieu of flowers, memorials are suggested to Quincy University or Quincy Notre Dame High School.
