He was predeceased by: his parents, Anthony L. Hood and Fern Hood (Sheridan); and his siblings, Gene Allen (Iris), Jerry Hood (Joyce) and Waneta Mann (Roy Marvin).
He is survived by: his son-in-law Kirk; his former wife Willa Jean Hood (Reynolds); his children, Mark Troy Hood (Pam) of Dunnegan, Brenda Jean Poole (Kirk) of Cleveland, GA, Rita Jane Duchscherer (Kevin) of Morrisville, Ella June McCullough (David) of Lilburn, GA and Nancy Jon Pippert (Scott) of Kansas City, KS; his grandchildren, Cheri Fisher (Brian), Kamron Hood (Kasey Bayer), Ana Hood, Aundrea Johnson (William), Alexander Poole (Tamara), Victor, Gavin, Landon Duchscherer, Brody, Hudson, Brooke McCullough, Chance and Sydnee Pippert; and his great grandchildren, Cash, Jackson Fisher, Juan Depaz, Maddox, Margaret, Micah, Madelyn, Marybeth, Malachi Johnson, Greyson Poole, Brock and Teagan Bayer. He is also survived by numerous nephews, nieces and cousins.
