He was predeceased by: his parents, Athel Van and Doris Irene Baker (Gannaway); and his brother Alfred Baker. He is survived by: his children, Kim Cookson, Christa Applebee and Chad Baker; and his sister-in-law Pat Baker. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews and other friends and family.
