He was predeceased by: his parents, C. L. Northington and Leila Mae Guinn Northington; and his siblings, Earl Northington and Mary Maggaline. He is survived by: his children, Philip Northington of Branson, Mathew Northington of Elsinore, Douglas Northington of Dexter, Miles Northington of Macon, Missouri and Melissa Est of Bloomfield, Missouri; and his sister Dorothy Riggins-Higginbotham of Dudley, Missouri. He is also survived by fifteen grandchildren and many great-grandchildren.
