He was predeceased by: his parents, Floyd South and June South (Moser); his wife Janice; his son John Mac Arthur South; and his great grandchild Gage Kraft.
He is survived by: his sister Theresa Edmonds; and his children, Deborah Blanton of Drexel, MO, Donna Gray of Drexel, MO and Larry South Jr. of St. Petersburg, FL. He is also survived by eight grandchildren and 13 great-grandchildren.
