He was predeceased by: his parents, Ivan Sr. Showalter and Edith Arlene Maupin Showalter; and his brothers, Ronald, Dean and Junior.
He is survived by: his wife Caroline Showalter; his daughters, Donita Shipman (John) of Mora, MO., Janice Russell (Todd) of Drexel, MO. and Brenda Hadley (Brian Kaufman) of Drexel, MO.; his grandchildren, Jack Shipman, Wyatt Shipman (Melissa), Brandon Russell (Ashleigh), Mallari Easterla (Matt), Cody Russell, Cassie Hadley, Blake Hadley, Mikaela Hadley and Kendall Hadley; his great grandchildren, Anthony Bradley, Tinlee Easterla, Will Shipman, Emma Shipman, Braxton Russell, Piper Russell, Rae Russell and Chase Frazier; his nieces and nephews, Rick Showalter (Kelly), Cindy Jobes, Vickie Pittman, Dennis Blanton (Linda), Steve Blanton (Lisa) and Jason Showalter; his sister-in-law Peggy Moles; and his friends, Mary and Bill Jones. He is also survived by the grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
