He was predeceased by: his parents, Thomas Roberts and Mary Chafin Roberts; and his nephew Tom Roberts, III. He is survived by: his wife Mary Koontz; his daughter Melanie Kitchen (Charlie); his grandchildren, Shelby Doerfler (Brady), Elissa Kitchen and Colten Kitchen; his great grandchildren, Bentley and Gavin Doerfler; his siblings, Shirley Davis (Ron), Veronica Joyce Wyckoff (Rick) and Tom Roberts (Dorothy); and his stepson Terry Koontz. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, and several great-nieces and nephews.
