We are sad to announce that on March 19, 2024, at the age of 81, Caroline Showalter of Drexel, Missouri, born in Galesburg, Illinois passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Albert Pelton and Ethel Lois Newburg Pelton; her spouse Jimmie Dan "Short" Showalter; her siblings, Ivan, Butch and JoAnn Gregory; and her niece Diane Bartles.
She is survived by: her daughters, Donita Shipman (John) of Mora, MO., Janice Russell (Todd) and Brenda Hadley (Brian Kaufman) of Drexel, MO.; her grandchildren, Jack Shipman, Wyatt Shipman (Melissa), Brandon Russell (Ashleigh), Mallari Easterla (Matt), Cody Russell, Cassie Hadley, Blake Hadley, Mikaela Hadley and Kendall Hadley; her great grandchildren, Anthony Bradley, Tinlee Easterla, Will Shipman, Emma Shipman, Braxton Russell, Piper Russell, Rae Russell and Chase Frazier; her sister Jeanette Bartles of Harrisonville, MO.; and her close friends, Mary, Bill Jones and Lyn Stark. She is also survived by many nieces, nephews, extended family.
