He was predeceased by: his parents, Fred B. Baker and Gracie Mae Dyer Baker; his son Melvin Baker; his daughter-in-law Mary Baker; and his siblings, Lorena Fleak, Noema Baker, Daisy Queen, Clarence, Lenard, David and Glen Baker.
He is survived by: his wife Delores Baker of Downing, MO; his children, Rita Benton (Gary) of Harrisburg, MO and Fred Lee Baker (Christine) of Downing, MO; his sister Mabel Bert (Wilbur) of Overland Park, KS; and his close friends, Vicky Davis and Dean Martin. He is also survived by eleven grandchildren, nineteen great grandchildren, six great great grandchildren, several nieces and nephews.
