He was predeceased by: his parents, Charles Franklin and Rosa Jewel Laws (Smith); his son John Paul Laws; his sister Darlene Laws; his son-in-law Jerry Morlock; his half-sisters, Charlene Simmons and Jean Marie Mills; and his sister-in-law Vivian Laws.
He is survived by: his daughter Linda Elizabeth (Rusty) of Merriam Woods, Missouri; his wife Sheridan Laws of Downing, Missouri; his daughter-in-law Jennifer Laws of Glenwood, Missouri; his grandchildren, Ashlyn Nicole Laws of Glenwood, Jerald Morlock (Amie) of Topeka, Dakota Morlock of Wathena, Cheyenne Morlock of Merriam Woods, Kelli Wieberg (Austin) of Marceline and Samantha Ault of Merriam Woods, Missouri; his great grandchildren, Grace, Theodore Morlock of Topeka, Falicity, Daemon Wieberg of Marceline and John Ault of Merriam Woods, Missouri; his half-brother Chester Lee Laws (Yosonda) of Iowa City, Iowa; and his pet Oscar. He is also survived by nieces and nephews; other family members.
