She was predeceased by: her parents, Winnie Evert and Orilla Jean Phillips; her husband Verne Edward Spees; and her siblings, Charles Eugene Phillips, John Paul Phillips, Elsie Gerald and Margori Lee.
She is survived by: her children, John Kevin Spees (Darrlea) of Downing and Terri Lynn Spears of Downing, Missouri; her grandchildren, Johnne Spees of Colorado, Jenny Spees of Ottumwa, Chris Swartwood of Wyoming, Torri Groseclose of Kirksville, James Groseclose of Novinger, Natasha West (Brian) of Coatsville, Jason Spears (Amber Ashby) of Centerville, Christy Knapp of Chicago, Angie Knapp of Connecticut and Jeremy Knapp of Jefferson City, Missouri; and her sister Marryann Swenson of Alexa, Illinois. She is also survived by nieces and nephews and other family members.
