He is survived by: his mother Darlene Melton of Judsonia; his wife Peggy Melton of Doniphan; his daughter Alexis Moore (Brock Emig) of Tulsa, Oklahoma; and his siblings, Robert Melton (Melissa) of Judsonia, Sharon Eilers (Rick) of Alvarado, Texas, Carolyn Melton of Judsonia, Barbara Melton of Judsonia and Linda Melton of Nevada. He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews as well as extended family and friends.
