He is survived by: his wife Nancy; his children, Phillip, Jr., Mark (Linda), James (Jill), Greg Portwood (Keith) and Shauna VandeDrink (Gregory); his siblings, Yonnie Coffman, Deborah Adamson, Alex Portwood (Connie), Donna Pieber, Mary Steingruby (Ricky), Danny Scroggins (Terry), David Scroggins (Carla) and Amber Scroggins; his brother-in-law Daniel Cooper (Cecelia); his grandchildren, Rebecca, Jessica (Levi), Dylan, Alexis, Joseph (Brittny), Alana, Bella and Jasper; and his great grandchildren, Aurora, Rhett, Nora of Jameson, LJ and Apollo. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
