He is survived by: his mother Leona Simpson (Smith); his wife Christina Amos; and his children, Dawn Waters (Ed), Tammy Moore (Jason), Tina Preston (Adam), Brittany Collins (Eric), Josh Amos, Brandon Amos and Richard "Ricky" Simpson, Jr.. He is also survived by 12 grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.
