He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Gladys McCain Varner of Piggott, AR and Robert Varner; his wife Theresa Cross; his daughters, Regina Varner-Stahl (Steve) of Kokomo, IN, Ramona Varner (Misty) of Cedar Grove, TN and Renee Varner-Deken (Brad) of Jackson, MO; his stepson Michael Daniels of Doniphan; his siblings, Diane Rogers (Gary) of Paragould, AR, Jackie Hardin (Steve) of Rogers, AR and Donnie Varner (Kay) of Rector, AR; his grandchildren, Sabrina (Evan), Amanda, Aaron and Audrey; and his great grandchildren, Clifford, Annalynn and Ava. He was also cherished by many nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to St. Judes Children's Hospital.
