It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Larry E. Portwood of Doniphan, Missouri, born in Hayti, Missouri, who passed away on November 29, 2023, at the age of 69, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Castle Eugene and DaWanda Jean Portwood (Wyatt); his son Stephen Eugene Portwood; and his brother Scott Portwood. He is survived by: his children, Darla Jean Wilson (Scott) of Pine, MO, Christopher Eugene Portwood of Pine and James Allen Portwood (Echo) of Poplar Bluff, MO; and his siblings, Beverly Siegler of Doniphan, Pam Ehrenberg of Blue Springs, MO, Tony Portwood (Brenda) of Doniphan and Dennis Portwood of Doniphan. He is also survived by three granddaughters; and seven great-grandchildren.
