He was predeceased by: his parents, William Belanger and Nancy Belanger (Brown); and his brother Thomas Belanger. He is survived by: his children, Brandi Tieken (Jim) of Hillsboro, MO, Bernadette Kennedy (Tim) of New Orleans, LA, Andrew J. Belanger (Jessica) of Hillsboro, MO and Jessica Brinley (Tony) of Festus, MO; and his siblings, Jane Belanger, Mary Hemphill, Ellen Raskin, Jeff, John, Paul and Andrew Belanger. He is also survived by seven grandchildren.
