He is survived by: his children, James Weldon Kneiss (Dana) of Poplar Bluff and Cindee Hodges (Randy) of Florida; his siblings, Gleeda Blackwell (Lindell) of Arkansas and Denny Keel (Liz); his grandchildren, Amanda Mounsey (Dave), R. J. Hodges, Christian Campbell, Olivia Hodges and Tyler Kneiss; and his great grandchild Brooklyn Hodges.
