He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Margret JoAnn Heavin (Dawson) and Joseph Franklin Heavin; his sister Janet Hoskins (Heavin); his wife Marla Heavin (Rau); his grandchildren, Willa Saunders, Waylon Saunders, Clara Heavin and Benjamin Heavin; and his children-in-law, Katherine Heavin (Hammers) and Zachary Saunders. He was also cherished by his children, grandchildren, and wife of 45 years.
Due to COVID-19, services will be with close family, with memorial services at a later time.
